you’d think this might happen pretty often, considering how small and pathetic capillaries seem compared to their hunky muscular relatives, but nope
let me introduce you to this little trick, the Law of LaPlace:
tension exerted on the wall of a vessel = pressure x radius
guess how small the radius of a capillary is? how low the pressure is?
